Developer Scarborough International Properties Limited (SIPL) and its joint venture partner Legal & General have agreed a ten-year lease with popular coffee house brand Caffé Nero which is taking an 1,800 sq ft unit.

In addition, designer furniture store Lola Rose Interiors has also committed to a 2,500 sq ft unit on a one-year lease agreement.
News of the store openings comes as phase two of a £162m investment from Legal & General Capital is underway.
Phase two of the development includes includes the 350,000 sq ft retail and leisure park as well as a further 900,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation, 300 new residential homes by Redrow and a 113-acre public park with sports facilities.
Simon Marshall, joint chief executive of Scarborough International Properties, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming these new retailers to The Springs at Thorpe Park Leeds.
“It is great to see continued interest from such well-known brands but equally encouraging that the scheme is a viable trading option for local operators.
“We had always set out to bring a strong blend of options for visitors to The Springs and to reach 83 per cent occupancy in our first year since launch is quite an achievement in an otherwise challenging marketplace.”
