Yorkshire rugby team strikes deal with industrial lubricant manufacturer
An industrial lubricant manufacturer is backing grass roots sport with its continued support of a local rugby club.
ROCOL is extending its sponsorship of Stanley Rodlillians RUFC for the 2019/20 season.
Stanley Rodillians’ first team coach, Gary Demaine, said: “It is fantastic that ROCOL are once again supporting Stanley Rodillians.
“The company’s support helps us to provide high quality playing and training kit, which means that all the players turn out in the same kit and look professional. This has a knock-on effect to the way that we play and train.
“Yorkshire Division Four is a league of fine margins. Any team can beat another on any given week. That makes for great fun rugby and means that we are always looking for small advantages that can put us ahead of the competition.”
The club, who compete in Yorkshire Division Four, will display the ROCOL logo on their shorts and training tops.
Marketing communications manager at ROCOL, Shaun Heyes, added: “We are keen to support grass roots sport and our local community so it is great that we can support the club once again.
“ROCOL have been sponsoring Stanley Rodillians for four seasons and we are proud to continue doing so. We wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season.”
