Innovation to the fore as SQF targets further export success
Sleaford Quality Foods (SQF), the cross-category supplier of multiple packaged foods to the manufacturing and foodservice sector, is celebrating a raft of export successes as 2019 draws to a close.
The firm, which this year launched its sustainability led Our Earth range across the US and Europe is enjoying a series of notable export wins on both sides on the Atlantic.
SQF has already begun shipping its Our Earth range to a Florida-based British food supplier to hotels, restaurants and cruise lines, while the firm has also been successful in tendering their Herbs and Spices for a major European contract that will see products distributed throughout the Continent.
SQF has also enjoyed an export breakthrough in Saudi Arabia and has been working with a supplier in Malta where it has won a substantial potato powder contract in the education sector.
Meanwhile, SQF has also tasted export success in Spain, France, Germany and Italy with two instant soup flavours which will be used by a Portuguese supplier of coffee pod-style soup-on-the-go.
Export Manager Anthony Ware at Sleaford Quality Foods said: “2019 has been a very promising year for our export markets. As we expand our range, we will continue to enter new markets as different end-users come into contact with our products and the unrivalled support we provide.”
“The Our Earth range is spearheading our drive towards innovation - and it’s pleasing to see that this free-from product is proving popular with overseas markets. We expect to see this continue as we ramp up our export efforts into 2020.”
