£3m SME flexible workspace facility set to launch in York
A self-storage centre set to open in York this spring will offer flexible workspaces for the city’s SMEs.
McCarthy’s Storage World, due to open in April, will offer a range of workspaces for small businesses alongside 50,000 sq ft of storage space.
The firm, which already has storage facilities in Leeds, Harrogate and Wakefield, will offer a combination of office, trade counter and storage space to local SMEs and entrepreneurs.
In addition, the company is set to create a raft of jobs with the opening of the £3m York facility.
Mike McCarthy, managing director of McCarthy’s Storage World, commented: “We know it can be difficult for small businesses in the area to find appropriate, flexible and affordable workspace.
“Because our York storage centre is being purpose built for us, we wanted to ensure there was space which really worked for small local businesses.
“Whether they may need a trade counter, somewhere to store excess stock or a small office combined with storage, we’ll be able to work with them to create the space they need.”
