Hat-trick for CMOStores in national eCommerce awards

The prestigious eCommerce awards for businesses across the UK has shortlisted Plymouth-based CMOStores.com in all three categories entered by the fast-growing online builder’s merchant.

Designed to celebrate the very best in eCommerce and online retailing, the UK eCommerce Conference & Awards 2020 received hundreds of entries awards from dynamic online businesses nationwide.

CMOStores.com, which has six eCommerce platforms, was one of just two companies shortlisted in the UK eCommerce In-house Team of the Year category for the innovative work undertaken by its 11-strong technical team; and its 23-year-old SEO manager Katie Knapman was shortlisted for the UK eCommerce Rising Star Award. The company’s successful Door Superstore platform was also shortlisted in the DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design eCommerce Website of the Year category.

One of the best-known awards schemes in the online retail industry, the UK eCommerce Awards recognise exceptional websites, platforms, suppliers, and marketing from in-house teams and agencies.

CMOStores.com will attend a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Montcalm Marble Arch in London on 25th March when the winners will be announced.

“As a business, we pride ourselves on ‘breaking the mould’ and by bringing the latest technology to the building sector, we have really disrupted the market in the last few years and delivered the benefits of eCommerce to DIY enthusiasts and building contractors across the UK,” explains Ben Hodson, marketing director for CMOstores.com.

“Just last week, we were shortlisted in the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Awards, so we are really proud that our talented team’s innovation and hard work is being recognised once more - being shortlisted in three categories is quite an achievement!”

Based in Burrington Way, CMOStores.com has grown into a£38.6m turnover business and now employs over 100 people.
