Second phase underway for North East housing development
Work has started on the second phase of a new housing development in Yarm where the first phase of homes has sold out.
All 89 properties have now been sold at phase one of Bellway Durham’s Conyers Green development, off Green Lane.
Construction is now underway on the remaining 79 properties which will bring the number of homes Bellway is building at Conyers Green to a total of 168.
Sales manager for Bellway Durham, Oliver Wray, said: “Conyers Green is providing Yarm with a range of much-needed new homes.
“This development has received a lot of attention from both those who live in the surrounding area and those from outside of Teesside, which is understandable given the quality of the homes and the prime location that the development is being built on.
“With there being such a wide variety of house types to choose from, the homes we are building at Conyers Green are suitable for house buyers at all stages of the property ladder, including first-time buyers, families and those looking to downsize.
“It’s also ideal for commuters with the nearest train station being a few minutes’ walk away and there being easy access to A19 and the A66.”
