North West tech firm offers free recruitment for businesses and candidates
Tech start up, Caroo, is extending its offer of free recruitment to businesses across the North-West and Yorkshire in a bid to support them during these challenging times.
The team behind the Manchester-based recruitment platform had originally planned to monetise the employer product from the 1st April, however, it has decided to continue offering its services for free, for the foreseeable future.
Caroo offers unlimited job ad postings, unlimited users, and the ability to contact as many candidates as wanted. Meanwhile, recruitment agencies are not allowed on the platform.
Caroo has over 20,000 candidates from across the North of England – a number that is increasing daily - and more than 500 brands posting a wide variety of roles.
Gareth Peterson, managing director of Caroo, said: “During uncertain times we want to ensure flexibility in line with the changing business and employment landscape.
“No one knows what the next few weeks and months means for business and employment so we want to make sure our platform is accessible without restriction for anyone looking for jobs and any businesses with job opportunities.
“Our entire team is working remotely in a bid to stay safe and well – allowing us to actively help and advise anyone wanting to use the platform.”
Caroo removes the hassle of recruitment allowing employers to list the skills and expertise required for a role along with the level of experience needed. It uses algorithms to identify and match candidates for tech, digital and creative roles as well as all head office functions.
Candidate profiles are anonymous, and no data is collected on gender, age, or race etc – it’s purely down to skills, interests and experience.
