Expanding dentistry firm gets teeth into e-commerce with new online store
A dentistry practice set to expand across the North East has launched a virtual store to support patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Queensway Orthodontics, which has practices in Jesmond and Billingham, has opened an online store
The launch comes as dentists across the country are in lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, operating on a critical-emergency-only basis.
The firm, which is set to launch three new locations this spring, as opened the store to provide patients in orthodontic treatment and wearing retainers with access to oral hygiene supplies during the coronavirus crisis.
Dr Guy Deeming, specialist orthodontist at Queensway, commented: “The online store gives people access to specialist supplies while they are unable to make routine visits to a clinic.
“Our aim is to help people in the process of treatment maintain their hygiene and oral health both conveniently and safely from home, in accordance with government advice for social distancing.
“The store is open to all, and we’re really pleased with the selection of products which not only do the job, but also, thanks to our zero-waste range, reduce the impact on the environment.”
