Brownfield developer sells 94 plots to South East housebuilder
A brownfield development specialist has today announced the sale of 94 plots at its flagship development in Buckinghamshire.
Inland Homes has sold the plots, which are situated at the firm’s Wilton Park site, to South East property developer Bewley Homes for an undisclosed sum.
The sale is part of phase one and two of the project, which totals 147 units including 27 per cent affordable housing.
Expected to complete in September this year, the sale will enable Inland Homes to reduce its debt and free up cashflow for reinvestment into its own developments.
Stephen Wicks, Inland Homes group chief executive, commented: “We are delighted to have exchanged contracts to sell 94 plots at Wilton Park.
“The sale, at a premium to the EPRA valuation, is further evidence of the high quality of our assets and especially pleasing given the current economic climate.”
