Digital Marketing agency launches community initiative to support local businesses during coronavirus pandemic
Digital Marketing agency, Reach Digital, has unveiled a new initiative to support businesses and help boost their revenue during the coronavirus pandemic. We Luv Local is a location-based online directory which allows business owners to showcase their product or service to a bigger audience free of charge, whilst supporting the wider economy by encouraging both businesses and consumers to buy from British suppliers.
Having seen many businesses adapt their strategies to support others during the pandemic, Reach Digital founder, Debbie Jones, and her business partner were inspired to give back to the business community, using their digital expertise to develop the We Luv Local platform as a central hub where people can find businesses and suppliers operating in their local areas.
Debbie Jones, founder of Reach Digital and We Luv Local, said: “We understand that peoples’ buying behaviours are changing because of the current pandemic, and many businesses have seen their revenue suffer as a result. “We wanted to find a way to give something back and help promote companies that continue to serve their local communities during the pandemic and felt the We Luv Local initiative fulfilled this objective perfectly. We hope the platform will help unite British communities and encourage businesses across the country to thrive, both now and in the future.”
Since official launch in May 2020, We Luv Local has received registrations from over 250 different businesses spanning the UK, from Fife to Devon. Founded in 2014, Reach Digital is a Manchester-based family run business specialising in marketing, digital strategy and design. The agency is passionate about helping business owners create digital spaces that communicate their brands and create a lasting impact.
