Newcastle entrepreneur set to support travel industry with new consultancy
A local travel specialist has launched a new venture in a bid to help holidaymakers as well as support the struggling travel industry.
Paul Sharp from West Moor has launched his own consultancy after being made redundant from the travel sector.
Paul, who worked in the industry for 25 years, explained: “Everyone knows that Covid has had a devastating impact on the travel industry and it was a terrible shock to find I was among the thousands of people to lose their job.”
With support from franchise operator Travel Counsellors, Paul has set up the consultancy from his home, and hopes to support holidaymakers who have been left disappointed by the disruption caused by the pandemic.
Paul continued: “So many travellers have faced disappointment with plans being cancelled this year, and many encountered difficulties contacting suppliers to make changes, rebook or obtain refunds.
“Using Travel Counsellors technology, I can access thousands of travel options and create tailor-made travel experiences based on my customers personal preferences, all of which are fully financially protected.
“As an independent travel specialist, I will go above and beyond to provide a personalised, hassle-free service. Using my personal knowledge and expertise I am able to create, plan and manage amazing holidays and travel experiences for people.”
