UKCM Celebrates 22nd Birthday with Major Milestones
Cheshire-based UK Container Maintenance (UKCM), the country’s largest container repair and refurbishment company, is marking 22 years in business with a duo of significant milestones.
Notably, across its 22 years of service, the family-owned firm has saved local authorities and waste companies over £260 million, with the refurbishment and repair of a remarkable 1.7 million waste and recycling containers utilising all materials so that today’s redundant and scrap stocks and damaged parts are re-manufactured, recycled and reused.
The news follows many years of success for UKCM, during which there has been a series of major developments and achievements for the company including much-coveted new contracts and high-profile, award-winning recognition.
Emma Elston MBE, UKCM CEO, comments: “Over the last 22 years, we have continued to remain true to what we do and what we believe in. Refurbishment and re-use is key to protecting the environment and conserving resources, and as a family-run business we are thrilled at the extent to which we have been able to help our customers in doing this.
“Moving forward, we strive to provide solutions for a sustainable future by reacting to industry needs, promoting the importance of re-use, refurbishment & re-manufacturing, but also ensuring that all containers in the public domain are safe and efficient for use.”
