Local mobile phone accessories manufacturer juice®, wins big at annual Cherwell Business Awards 2020

Jolyon Bennett, dynamic founder and CEO of mobile phone accessories provider, juice® Global Ltd is celebrating a fantastic end to the year by winning two awards at the Cherwell Business Awards 2020.

Jolyon won the Ellacotts Business Person of the Year 2020 Award and the business won the Spratt Endicott Established Business Award 2020, so a successful evening for this forward-thinking CEO and his fast-growing business.

Now in its 9th year, The Cherwell Business Awards are acknowledged as the original and most respected business awards for Cherwell District, serving to showcase and celebrate business excellence, and were established by a team of dedicated business people from different industry sectors within Cherwell District.

The awards ceremony was originally planned for earlier in the year as a Gala Dinner, but the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the ceremony was held as a virtual ceremony on Friday11th December. The judging panel was made up from the sponsors of the awards and there were nine categories.

juice® Founder, Jolyon Bennett, commented: “This is just the best news! Winning two of the nine categories at the ceremony was beyond all expectation and a complete honour. It is one thing to win as a business, as there is a whole team of dedicated people who all contribute to make juice® what it is, but to be singled out and win the Business Person of the Year award was off the scale – I’m buzzing!

All businesses have been under pressure since the pandemic took hold, so to end such a challenging year with two prestigious award wins against such stiff competition is a real boost and proves to both me and my team that we are doing the right thing.“

Originally launched as Gusto Telecom Solutions Limited in 2010, the Oxfordshire based firm has had a great year for awards, scooping the prestigious ‘Best Accessories Manufacturer’ award at the annual Mobile News Awards 2020, beating multi-national industry giants such as Belkin, Otter Products and Zagg to the win.

juice® has also maintained its market leading position this year, confirmed by the latest GfK data, which revealed that juice® currently outperforms any other brand in USB type-C and Micro-USB Cables, and outsells Apple in Lightning Cables.
