London kitchen retailer serves up new Orpington store
A London kitchen retailer has announced that it has relocated its Orpington store following two years of successful trading.
Kutchenhaus has opened up the new store outside the Walnuts Shopping Centre in Bromley, replacing the showroom that was inside.
The new store is 2,100 sq ft of retail space, and employs three members of staff in customer services and kitchen design.
Lily Harrison, co-owner of Kutchenhaus in Orpington, commented: “The team is incredibly excited to have opened the new store in Orpington and are looking forward to welcoming the community once current restrictions are lifted.
“When the opportunity arose for a location with larger footfall and better accessibility nearby to our previous store, we couldn’t turn it down.
“The location of Orpington in general has broad appeal, with excellent schools, good quality housing and great transport links into both the city and Kent.
“The town centre enjoys continued investment and there are some exciting major developments on the horizon so we are excited to have committed our future here.”
Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: “Kutchenhaus is on an ambitious growth path over the next few years, however being in the grip of a global pandemic has certainly presented some challenges and even positively altered the way we do business in some cases.
“It is therefore very rewarding that Charlotte, Lily and the team are able to relocate and open their new store in Orpington, offering local customers the opportunity to plan and design their dream kitchen.
“We are very excited to be part of the new showroom opening in Orpington, a community we believe is in a good vibrant location and is connected well to the surrounding areas. We wish the team all the best and can’t wait to see their future success.”
