Speedel launches 24/7 covid test results courier service for business
Leicester-based firm Speedel has launched a 24/7 covid test results courier service designed to help businesses manage mass testing and minimise disruption.
The service will allow businesses to send covid test kits to the nominated laboratory more quickly, trusting Speedel to transport the tests safely and securely. Results can then be returned without delay, allowing the business to continue with operations.
A number of companies have already made use of the service, particularly those in the construction, education and film production sectors.
With extensive coronavirus testing likely to remain as an essential part of any new normal, the service is expected to stay as an integral part of Speedel’s healthcare courier portfolio.
“Testing is likely to be a big part of life for some time to come, and we know how disruptive waiting for test results can be for business and individuals alike” explains Shiraz Sidat, Operations Manager at Speedel.
“The new service is available around the clock and we can deliver to any nominated laboratory. This should provide a really convenient, trackable service for businesses. We also adhere to very high safety standard and social distancing throughout” he adds.
In addition to delivering test kits to the laboratory, Speedel will also provide test delivery services for those companies who produce the PCR and lateral flow tests.
