gunnercooke boosts Real Estate team in new year recruitment push
Full-service corporate law firm, gunnercooke, has bolstered its Real Estate partner group with another six key hires, as it begins a huge 2021 recruitment drive.
The latest joiners join the specialist property team at the firm’s London office. Matthew East and Jonathan Wilkinson have moved to gunnercooke from Gowling WLG and Charles Russell Speechlys respectively, with other Real Estate hires including Sam Rosenthal, Melanie Curtis, Matthew Cox and Jeremy Pow.
Development and People Director, Lucy Hargreaves, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our latest partners to the firm and in particular I’m pleased at the way we’re inducting and engaging new people with our business and culture whilst working completely remotely. We’ve made a strong start to the year and are continuing to amass significant expertise in one of our core areas, real estate investment and finance. We now have more than 230 partners at the firm, each bringing their own sector expertise and experience. We are looking forward to driving further growth as we increase market profile around our new offices in Birmingham and Germany.”
gunnercooke is a full-service commercial law firm with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Berlin. It was founded in 2010 in a reaction to an outmoded law firm model which left its clients frustrated and dissatisfied. The firm’s innovative model sees partners with a minimum 10,000 hours practicing experience becoming trusted advisers to their clients, providing certainty of price and delivering the very best quality advice.
