CQC registration for neurorehabilitation hospital
Renovo Care has opened its new neurorehabilitation hospital, South Newton, near Salisbury, after receiving Care Quality Commission registration for the first 17 beds.
Renovo Care is independent specialist provider of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury (ABI) and progressive neurological disorders. Its highly qualified multi-disciplinary team offers high quality care that promotes and supports the best rehabilitative outcomes possible.
Renovo Care is backed by investment firm Blantyre Capital, which has invested more than one million pounds into South Newton Hospital, which offers single, en-suite bedrooms, a therapy suite with physiotherapy gym and hydrotherapy pool, communal and quiet lounges and established mature gardens.
The multi-disciplinary team provides programmes of treatment, care and interventions. It includes neurorehabilitation consultants, onsite medical practitioner, registered nurses and specialist therapists.
Reverend Jonathan Plows, Rector, Wylye and Till Valley Benefice, said: “There is great anticipation within the village at the opening of the new South Newton Hospital. This important regional medical facility stands at the heart of a South Wiltshire village and we welcome this significant investment both within the immediate community and the wider health community.”
