NG ignites growth for expanding candles company
Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have brokered a quick-fire deal to let an industrial unit in Langley Mill.
Matty’s Candles has taken the 1,700 sq ft Unit at Langley Park in the town, after the property had only been on the market for a week.
Matty’s Candles started out as a home-based business in 2018 and has expanded rapidly ever since. The firm makes eco-friendly scented candles with ingredients sourced from within the UK and made from coconut and rapeseed wax which is soy-free.
Ellis Cullen of NG acted on behalf of a private landlord.
She said: “This was an incredibly quick turnaround for our client; the tenant viewed the property on Thursday and a week later they were trading from the unit.
“Matty’s Candles is a true local success story and it’s always incredibly satisfying to help a growing business take their next step on the ladder. We wish the company all the best in their new home.”
