Leading developer is creating 800 new jobs across five construction sites in the city
Legacie Developments is set to create more than 800 new construction related jobs in Liverpool before the end of 2021.
The company, which is currently working on the £90million Parliament Square in the Baltic Triangle, will soon be developing five sites across the city including One Baltic Square and Element The Quarter which will be developed into a 450 unit eco-friendly residential scheme.
Legacie is also starting work on a building scheme to create 76 new homes in north Liverpool.
“We are incredibly proud of the new jobs we are creating in Liverpool’s construction sector,” says John Morley.
“The new jobs cover all aspects of the construction industry, and will include a number of opportunities for apprentices who we have committed to upskilling for the future.
It is especially pleasing to help people get back to work after the pandemic. The jobs will be across all of our sites in Liverpool including Parliament Square, One Baltic Square, Element The Quarter, City Terraces in north Liverpool and The Summit.“
Legacie was founded in 2016 by John Morley, it has delivered multiple residential projects in the region including Liverpool’s Ropemaker Place apartment scheme and the redevelopment of the flagship Reliance House in the city’s commercial district.
Legacie recently expanded to Manchester with the announcement of a major residential development at Salford Quays. The company is also expanding to London and Luton.
