Arimos Pest Control celebrates 10th birthday

The last 12 months have seen many changes in our working practices and the services we provide. The lock-downs, shielding and maintaining social distancing, to note just a few. Rodents and insects still invade property and homes, oblivious of our predicament. Arimos is one of the few Pest Control companies to operate in the Newcastle area throughout the pandemic

To assist our loyal customers in these strange times, we opened an on-line shop providing quality and reasonably priced treatment for customers to use themselves and set up ‘Bug Central’, a free insect ID service. A client will simply post the beastie to us and we quickly make identification, then advise on the best course of action, products and provided a doorstep delivery service throughout the Newcastle area during lockdown.

We now operate a click and collect service from the workshop in Sandyford. The on-line shop has been a great success with sales growing every month and ever increasing product lines. We carry plenty of stock to treat the most common pests from ant gel for the garden to gull spikes for DIY bird proofing.

We can also supply special requests for unusual items, usually within 24hours.

Arimos is the only all-female Pest Control service in the North of England and our loyal customers appreciate the ‘gentle touch’ at times when their houses don’t feel like home anymore. This is probably why 80% of our customers are ladies.

We operate an in-house ‘Handy-woman’ service to carry out proofing repairs to stop further infestations. We are delighted to welcome the new apprentice (a girlie of course). We wish her much success in the upcoming exams.

We don’t make a big song and dance about our work, we arrive in discreet vehicles – without signage with the most up to date equipment and treatments - and of course our experienced fully qualified technicians too quickly and effectively evict the uninvited guests. After all, who wants a vehicle with pictures of giant rats parked outside their house or business? Not ME!
