Horlicks Launches Summer Activation
As part of its 2021 campaign activation, Horlicks has launched the Horlicks Summer Club, providing parents, grandparents and carers with lots of free, fun activities to help them entertain children throughout August.
Ideal for keeping young minds and bodies active, while adults enjoy some ‘me-time’, Horlicks Summer Club is brimming with ideas, with 16 different activities to try out and all can be accessed via the Horlicks website.
The Horlicks website will host tasty challenges such as a Homemade Pizza Party and a Make Your Own Ice Cream, to options to get little ones venturing outdoors such as the Pirate Treasure Map challenge and the Nature Trail Hunt.
Michelle Younger, Head of Marketing at Horlicks adds: “We are immensely proud of our long heritage as a family favourite for nearly 150 years, and cherish the part we have played in supporting generations.
“After such a turbulent year, and the everyday stresses of homelife and keeping the children happy and entertained, we are keen to offer help to those looking after young children as the next phase of our #TimeForAHorlicks campaign. Our brand insight has demonstrated that the Horlicks Summer Club could be a very welcome addition in many homes over the holidays. Following its launch this August, the Horlicks team is very excited to hear the feedback from all those visiting our website and taking part in the fun-filled activities.”
The Horlicks Summer Club will be live on the Horlicks website from the 6th August to the 31st August.
Made in Britain since 1906, Horlicks has a strong British heritage, and formed part of the forces kit bag during WW2 due to its ‘complete and well-balanced nourishment’.
Horlicks is enriched with 14 vitamins and minerals; not only is it deliciously comforting but it aids in overall nourishment.
Horlicks is high in vitamins C, D, B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, niacin, biotin, calcium and zinc and a source of vitamin E and iron.
Horlicks has also recently introduced Horlicks Vegan, a dairy free malted beverage for consumers to enjoy with their favourite milk alternative. Registered by The Vegan Society, Horlicks Vegan caters not only for vegans, but also for those who suffer with dairy allergies. Ideal for both kids and adults, it is based on the signature creamy and malty flavour of Horlicks Original, and can be enjoyed hot or cold.
