Award-winning logistics company gives its support to National Lorry Week
Transport compliance and training company, Logico, are delighted to be giving their support to National Lorry Week, as it takes place from the 25th-31st October.
The award-winning company, based in Newton Aycliffe, provide transport compliance services such as external transport manager consulting, representations at public inquiries and driver licence checking. Logico are also the only north east based business to hold DVSA Earned Recognition Auditor status ensuring they are at the forefront of the industry within our region.
Their online and classroom accredited training including transport manager CPC qualification, transport manager refresher, first aid and driver CPC courses is also proving highly popular, with the company having trained nearly 500 delegates in 2021. National Lorry Week highlights the vital and often-overlooked role that the logistics industry plays in our lives every day. This year, more than ever, is the time to showcase the huge variety of careers that logistics has to offer and to also ask people to show their appreciation for the sector, after all, nearly everything we buy or use has been moved by a lorry.
Logico commercial director, Stephen Gosnay, commented, ’National Lorry Week is the perfect time to champion logistics as an innovative, inclusive and sustainable industry full of amazing opportunities.
We know how enjoyable and rewarding working in the logistics sector is, however, campaigns like these are an ideal opportunity for us to share our views and promote the sector as a whole.
We will be sharing news, views and much more via our social media channels throughout the week and we encourage people to get involved using the hashtag #NationalLorryWeek.’
