Yorkshire digital display van firm invests £200k in electric vehicle fleet
A Leeds digital display van firm has invested £200k into its fleet to ensure it meets with its carbon neutral strategy.
Media Displays has responded to an increase in enquiries from customers regarding greener options when it comes to transport. TYhe existing fleet will be replaced with new full electric vehicles.
Furthermore, removing the 10k VA diesel generator that is used to power the digital screen, the company can now provide a fully electric unit, with no need for diesel “donkey” generators.
Managing director of Media Displays, Ian Taylor said: “Working with some of the largest brands and production companies in the world, our clients expect us to have the most up to date equipment in place.
“The Euro 6 fleet now meets with the highest emission standards. It is our intention to continue to roll out our fully electric vehicles so that our clients know when they choose Media Displays, they are having the least impact on the environment possible.”
