Construction tool and service provider sees pre-tax profits rise to £49.1m
A UK provider of equipment hire to the construction and industrial markets has announced its results for the six months to September 2021.
Speedy Hire PLC announced adjusted profit before tax of £49.1m, an increase of 29.9% (£37.8m) from last year.
The firm also stated it has improved customer experience through enhanced digital platform.
The firm has also claimed a successful trial in 16 B&Q stores in H1.
Commenting on the results Russell Down, chief executive, said: “We have delivered another strong set of results through the strength of our offering, efficient operational delivery and a supportive market backdrop.
“Our focus on ESG, digital and customer service including our four-hour delivery promise, has once again yielded customer renewals and market share gains.
“Positive trading momentum in recent months and the significant growth opportunities presented by major infrastructure projects give us confidence in delivering full year results ahead of current market expectations and sustainable growth in the medium term.”
