Newcastle property specialist renovates offices in “iconic” location for £5m digital marketing occupant
Newcastle property specialist Adderstone’s Gainsborough House on the “iconic” Grey Street has seen its newest occupant in digital marketing specialist Evolved Search.
The marketing agency will be creating a workspace ‘hub’ for all staff at Adderstone Group’s Gainsborough House. The move will support further agency growth and create a collaborative hub enabling team members and clients to come together.
Founded in 2014, Evolved Search offers SEO, content marketing, digital PR, conversion rate optimisation, and paid marketing services, specialising predominantly in the automotive, finance, and retail sectors. The agency has recently reported a 45 per cent increase in annual revenue and is aiming to achieve a £5m turnover for their current financial year.
Adderstone Group acquired Gainsborough House in July 2018 and, following refurbishment, the Grade II listed 27,000 sq ft building is now fully occupied with tenants including Metro Radio, Pegasus Group, Pizza Punks, Penspen, Manpower, and Condeco.
Adderstone Group’s commercial estates manager, Mel Brown said: “We’ve been incredibly impressed with Evolved’s growth story in recent years.
“Their requirement for high-quality, centrally-located workspace designed to accommodate a more flexible and collaborative way of working matched perfectly with the final suite available at Gainsborough House. It’s been a pleasure to work with them on the new space in readiness for their teams to be able to return to the office.”
Ian McIntosh, managing director at Evolved Search said: “We were looking for an office that would provide our team with a stylish, comfortable space to collaborate, welcome clients and create the award-winning campaigns we’ve become known for over the years. Gainsborough House certainly fit the bill.
“The past 18 months have been difficult for everyone, but we’ve been incredibly fortunate that our business has kept on growing and we now need a bigger HQ. Remote working will still be a big part of our business, but the new hub will be a place to get together and we’re excited to welcome the Evolved Search team to our new home.”
