IMServ signs strategic partnership with British Gas Business
IMServ is pleased to announce the signing of a new strategic partnership with British Gas Business (BGB).
The expanded partnership sees IMServ become BGB’s preferred metering partner for the delivery of energy metering services to BGB’s UK customers.
BGB provides efficiency, resilience, and sustainability solutions to a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, commercial real estate, and healthcare, and has previously helped Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust cut its carbon emissions by 75%.
The race to Net-Zero and dramatically reducing carbon emissions is underpinned by the roll-out of the next generation of smart meters and the consumption data that they produce. BGB has been leading the roll-out by utilising IMServ’s expertise, systems, and skilled teams to help deliver innovative products and services whilst improving customer experience.
Having already completed thousands of smart meter installations together, this new agreement builds upon the successes of recent years as we work towards a smarter energy system to deliver the collective goal of reducing carbon emissions.
Steve Brown, MD of IMServ, comments: “It’s fantastic to be strengthening and deepening our relationship with Centrica. The partnership enables two leading companies to combine to create better, emissions-cutting solutions for customers.”
“Centrica has a huge client base, and we’ll be working with them to help analyse energy consumption and make it more efficient and less emissions-intensive.”
