Bradford manufacturing businesses entitled to free online support event
As businesses throughout Bradford plan for the year ahead, whether through developing new technology, or changing supply chains, local authorities aim to ensure they are aware of the support available to them for innovation.
Through its initiative, Bradford Manufacturing Weeks, the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is holding a free online event targeted at manufacturers.
This event is being delivered in partnership with primary Bradford Manufacturing Weeks sponsors Barclays and additional sponsors E3 Recruitment, Naylor Wintersgill, Bradford Council, and LCF Law, to help those in the manufacturing industry understand funding, employment, supply chain law, research, and development tax relief.
Sharing his experience on increasing profitability through Innovation, growing sales, changing culture, and overcoming challenges will be Mark Davies, chairman and founder of Think OTB.
Nick Garthwaite, chair of Bradford Manufacturing Weeks, commented, “Now more than ever, businesses need help in so many ways.
“Help and guidance with the support available for manufacturers, for example, with Research & Development tax credits, but more than that, help with Innovative thinking, to quote an often used phrase “thinking outside the box. This event will give a flavour of that and the other elements of great support available.”
The event takes place on Tuesday February 1 from 8:30am to 10:30am via Zoom.
