“Great” recommendations drive sales success for London housebuilder
Word-of-mouth recommendations from happy Bellway customers are driving sales of new homes at the housebuilder’s developments in and around London.
A total of 80 buyers have bought properties with Bellway Thames Gateway in the last six months after hearing about the homebuying experience with the company of friends, relatives, or colleagues.
Bellway Thames Gateway is currently building hundreds of new homes at developments across the London area, including in Nine Elms, Sydenham, Stratford, Greenwich, Beckton, Bexleyheath, Hornchurch, and Dartford.
Emma Hamlett, sales director of Bellway Thames Gateway, said: “Our customers are always at the forefront of everything that we do and the fact that recommendations from buyers have persuaded 80 more home-hunters to buy with us is testament to that ethos.

“At Bellway we are very proud of the fact that we have achieved five-star builder status with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for the fifth year running – which is only achieved if more than 90 per cent of a developer’s customers say they would recommend them to a friend.
Many of the purchases made on recommendations were at Eastside Quarter in Bexleyheath, where Bellway is delivering 518 new homes, a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, on a brownfield site that previously housed the civic offices of Bexley Council.
Chris Alexander, managing director of his own automotive tyre and repair company, and his wife Sarah, a director of the same company, decided to buy a second home at Lexington Gardens to be closer to their daughter, Olivia, after she graduated from Guildford’s School of Acting.
Chris remarked: “The staff were great and were always on hand if we needed them. The sales team have been helpful throughout the process and the wider maintenance team have been on hand for the one time we needed them, which was resolved on the same day.
Emma added: “It is incredibly pleasing for us as a company to see that our customers are so satisfied that they recommend us to their loved ones.
