Bath Rugby appoints Bristol based e-commerce tech specialist as official partner in multi-year deal
E-commerce fulfilment technology provider Huboo has been announced as the official e-commerce partner of professional rugby team Bath Rugby as part of a multi-year agreement.
Huboo has also now become the e-commerce fulfilment provider for all Bath Rugby clothing and merchandise housed within its online shop, as well as being the club’s official training wear sponsor.
Martin Bysh, who lives in Bath and is CEO and co-founder of Huboo, said: “We felt that this was a truly authentic partnership for us, given that we first breathed life into Huboo from a garage in Bath - this is where our roots lie.
“Bath Rugby is so central to the city and its people and it has a great ethos with a focus on community, teamwork and solidarity, which match our core values.”
Huboo, which is headquartered in Bristol and is currently expanding its scalable model into Europe after significant growth, is a fulfilment technology provider which enables online retailers of all sizes to access a complete end-to-end fulfilment operation within minutes in order to speed up their processes.
Bath Rugby CEO Tarquin McDonald said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Huboo, an exciting and fast-growing business with deep roots in Bath and the South West.
“Huboo has achieved phenomenal growth in recent years, underpinned by an innovative approach, the adoption of new technologies and a strong customer focus. We align strongly with Huboo’s values and forward-thinking approach, and we are proud to partner with Huboo, its founders and staff.”
The partnership means that Huboo will be well-placed to channel its technology into boosting Bath Rugby’s retail arm of the business, while streamlining its online orders, advancing its fulfilment credentials, and improving the overall customer service experience.
