MyGlobalHome acquires award-winning smart home company Environ

MyGlobalHome has completed its strategic acquisition of London based multi-award-winning smart home design and installation company Environ Audio Ltd.

Environ is a vastly experienced technology and electrical systems design and installation company operating from the heart of London. Environ have gained a reputation as experts in their field being responsible for the design, install, programming, commissioning and maintaining of smart home technology and electrical systems in hi-tech luxury homes, state-of-the-art retail, offices, hotels and public building spaces.

MyGlobalHome’s vision is to bring the same level of technology performance that is expected as standard within cars to homes and buildings. Driver aids, sensors, personalised settings and digital maintenance diagnostics are built into every new car that rolls off the production line. It is not just the domain of the Aston Martins and Bentleys of this world. Automotive technology enhances the driving and ownership experience and ensures future cars are built better to be more user-focused, sustainable and connected. MyGlobalHome offers developers and house builders unprecedented access to the same levels of performance equally justifiable at either extreme of the price range.

By purchasing Environ, MyGlobalHome benefits from decades of experience in designing, installing and maintaining complex smart building solutions and access to a brand that has achieved best in category recognition in the UK. Environ’s wealth of real-world industry experience and understanding is vital to ensure that the entire market from design through to construction embraces MyGlobalHome’s approach.

MyGlobalHome will continue to benefit from access to the latest technologies and thinking within the traditional smart building industry whilst implementing and shaping its vision for a more scalable, affordable solution to the entire market. The official announcement was made in London on the 26th April 2022. The move to acquire Environ first started in September 2021 as MyGlobalHome’s technology transitioned from the R&D phase into the deployment phase. This strategic alliance will provide access to the relevant skills and resources to ensure a smooth route to rapid scale-up.
