This week’s Yorkshire appointments

This week’s round up of Yorkshire appointments includes Key Capital Partners, Navigation Wealth Management and Chadwick Lawrence. Read on to find out more.

Hannah Kirkup, Key Capital Partners

Hannah Kirkup has joined the expanding team at Leeds headquartered private equity house Key Capital Partners (KCP) as investment manager.

Having joined Deloitte as a graduate in audit, Hannah moved into the Debt and Capital Advisory team where she gained extensive experience of advising privately owned, PE backed and corporate clients on raising finance with a focus on the Yorkshire, North East and Manchester markets.

Working alongside KCP managing partner James Hall in the firm’s Leeds office, Hannah’s appointment will further strengthen the team as it builds on its strong recent performance and global ranking of 15th best small-cap investor.

The PE house, which focuses on the smaller end of the buy-out market, is expanding its team to enable it to continue to invest and work with the leading SMEs and management teams across the UK.

Paul Scott, Navigation Wealth Management

Yorkshire based financial advisers Navigation Wealth Management has announced the appointment of its new client relationship manager, as the firm’s rapid growth continues.

Paul Scott (pictured left) has over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, the last 15 of which have been spent in the Premier Relationship team at Barclays Bank, helping customers across Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

Having worked for some of the UK’s biggest financial companies, he has a wealth of knowledge in the Banking and Financial services industry and is highly skilled in relationship management.

Matt Hammond (pictured right), chief executive at Navigation Wealth, which has offices in Beverley and Wakefield, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to the team. He has a real passion for delivering outstanding levels of service by understanding and supporting individual ambitions.

“He will undoubtedly be a big asset not only to Navigation Wealth, but also to our clients and key stakeholders. As well as supporting them personally, he will be working alongside our team of financial advisers to provide additional business development services.”

Seven appointments, Chadwick Lawrence

Law firm Chadwick Lawrence is relaunching its conveyancing division as part of its future growth strategy. The newly titled Real Estate Team of 70 conveyancing specialists will be led by a Senior Management Team, following the promotion of seven employees.

Amanda Ambler becomes the conveyancing operational project manager and will work alongside Conveyancing Partner Sarah Haller to lead the team’s strategic growth.

Team Leaders Bhavna Patel, Michelle Myers and Natalie Glover are now conveyancing managers. Bhavna will run Morley and Halifax, Michelle will head up the recently merged Pudsey and Guiseley offices now based in Guiseley, and Natalie will run Wakefield and Horbury.

Conveyancer Lashana Henderson, Solicitor Ruth Nippers and Vicky Sneddon are now Team Leaders. Lashana at Huddersfield, Ruth in Leeds, and Vicky in Bradford.

Sarah commented: “Our goal is to hit the reset button post pandemic. Drawing a line under the past couple of years and focusing everyone on the future. We have spent a lot of time and effort examining our processes and systems to streamline the way we work, our services, pricing and who we work with, as well as rebranding.

“Our relaunch of all things conveyancing at Chadwick Lawrence is about having a Real Estate Team focused on business as usual, but better. So that we can really set the standard and lead the way in conveyancing services.”
