New Camberley service centre expands Pack & Send’s network reach
Leading packing and shipping franchise Pack & Send UK, headquartered in central Reading, is continuing to expand its network – recently welcoming the Godwin family, who have launched Pack & Send Camberley, in Surrey.
The Godwins’ unit takes the brand’s UK tally to 20 Service Centres offering bespoke packing and shipping services to a loyal customer base of both individuals and businesses of all sizes with a broad capability that allows the safe delivery of virtually anything including fragile, large, awkward and valuable items.
With two consecutive years of 26% sales growth across their network, the franchise brand is benefitting from having a strong service proposition and the global logistics boom.
An increasing number of service centres turnover in excess of £500k, with gross profit margins of around 60%.
Stephen, 58, Hayley, 50 and son Charlie, 22, launched their family-run franchise business in mid-May. After an array of different careers, Stephen as an air traffic controller, Hayley in retail and then as a stay at home mum and Charlie, a former postman, the Godwins are excited to finally fulfil their lifetime ambition to run their own business.
The family were attracted to a franchise business due to the support offered and the stability of a proven business model. Whilst this is their first franchise venture, they are interested in growing a multi-unit enterprise.
Richard Webb, General Manager of Retail Network Development at Pack & Send comments: “We are thrilled to welcome the Godwins to our franchise network. Their enthusiasm, flexibility and problem-solving abilities provide them with the necessary qualities to grow their business in the ever-expanding logistics sector.”
