Popular TV Chef, and Leeds’ local, Bobby Geetha releases New Cookbook

Chef Bobby Geetha, who most recently graced our screens on BBC’s Great British Menu, and is the Chef behind popular Leeds restaurant Fleur, has released his new cookbook, ‘Fine Dining Indian At Home.’

This new release sees Chef Bobby’s anthology reach six popular books.

When asked his inspiration behind ‘Fine Dining Indian At Home’, he said, “My aim has always been to make fine dining accessible to everyone and the purpose of this new book is exactly that.”

He explained, “I want it to be a go-to for junior chefs as well as those who simply love to be in the kitchen. The aim is to show that you don’t need years of experience, and professional training, to try your hand at Indian fine dining!”

Kerala born, Bobby, has spent decades perfecting fine dining at a number of world class institutions such as the legendary ‘Noma’ in Copenhagen as well as at renowned British restaurant, ‘Dinner By Heston Blumenthal’.

He has since settled in Leeds and, for the last two years, has been developing menus for the popular restaurant, Fleur, which is situated in The Light Leeds.

In his new book he shares a wealth of simple Indian recipes. Each recipe comes with a unique QR code which, when scanned, takes the reader straight to Chef Bobby’s YouTube channel featuring demonstrations of each dish to ensure those who give his recipes a try can easily follow along.

Chef Bobby focuses on serving seasonal, summer produce with an Indian twist.

Readers can expect recipes such as Beef Short Rib Biryani, Courgetti Kalonji Masala and, Bobbys’ personal favourite, Spiced Avocado Pakora.

With multiple books under his belt, this new addition which can be purchased Amazon, is set to be a success and will see amatuer chefs, and foodies alike, bringing a taste of Indian fine dining to their homes.
