Leicester Tigers announce partnership extension with “elite” sports travel specialist
As part of Bdaily’s latest feature week, The Business of Sport, we look to consumer travel providers, sportsbreaks.com , which has today announced an extension to its current partnership with Leicester Tigers.
As part of the partnership, Sportsbreaks.com will provide opportunities for supporters to follow their team via official supporter travel packages to selected fixtures. A travel provider for “elite” sports clubs, Destination Sport Travel, formerly Clarity Sports, will also continue to support Tigers with domestic and international travel.
The organisation’s growing client list includes the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Scottish Rugby in addition to rugby clubs in Premiership Rugby and the United Rugby Championship.
Specialising in unforgettable sports travel experiences to many of the world’s top sports events, Sportsbreaks.com are also an official travel agent to Rugby World Cup 2023 and continue to provide opportunities for Tigers supporters to cheer on their country at next year’s eagerly awaited tournament.
Mark Davies, head of business development at Leicester Tigers, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Destination Sport Travel.
“A long engrained partner of the Club, we look forward to working with them further and expanding on the sporting travel offers currently in place such as the Rugby World Cup in France which is just around the corner in 2023.”
Rob Slawson, managing director of Destination Sport Travel and Sportsbreaks.com, added: “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Leicester Tigers. With our company continuing to grow at a considerable rate, we’ve been fortunate to announce several new partnerships recently.
“Our long-standing relationships with the likes of Leicester Tigers helps to reaffirm our position as the UK’s leading provider of elite rugby team and supporter travel.
“Equally important as announcing new partnerships is the opportunity to extend and grow existing relationships, we have a fantastic relationship with Leicester Tigers and look forward to supporting them for many years to come.”
