Holiday home manufacturer launches “game-changing” creation as market flourishes
Willerby has launched its latest holiday home featuring a new look, “high-class” interior design and a “game-changing” increase in kitchen storage space.
The Gainsborough reinforces Hull based Willerby’s position at the forefront of “design and innovation” in the industry and its status as the “UK holiday homes market leader”.
The Gainsborough’s contemporary interior design features a “bold” colour scheme running throughout. The star of the show is the Gainsborough’s kitchen, which has been created in response to consumer feedback from members of the Willerby Owners Club.
The kitchen offers a 40 per cent increase in storage space, with new features including canister shelves and a vertical storage rack. Lowered base cabinet plinths allow the cupboards to offer additional space, and a carousel storage unit is included in the corner base cabinet.
The Gainsborough is available in five different-sized layouts. 12ft two-bedroom models come in both 35ft and 38ft lengths, with a 40ft by 14ft model available for those looking for extra space. A three-bedroom model is available at both 12ft and 14ft wide.

Josh Mills, senior product manager at Willerby, commented: “Consumer research with the Willerby Owners Club indicated that almost all of our owners saw the kitchen as a top three factor in their purchasing decision, and having the maximum space possible was a key factor in which kitchen they would deem to be the best when comparing models.
“It’s also exciting that the Gainsborough is the first completely new model to be designed and built to our pioneering new sustainability standard, which sets a new benchmark for the holiday homes industry in energy efficiency. The Gainsborough combines style, comfort, space and sustainability in a superb addition to the Willerby range.”
Keith Holland, sales director at Willerby, added: “We’re seeing new customers in the holiday homes market, and people who used to go on package holidays and cruises are now embracing the holiday home world.”
All 2023 Willerby holiday homes, including the Gainsborough, are designed and built to the company’s “pioneering” Willerby GreEN Standard, a new standard specification for its models to cut their carbon emissions, make them more energy efficient and cheaper to run.
