Newcastle marketing agency ‘evolves’ with launch of two new specialist teams
Evolved has announced the launch of two new agency brands for the automotive and home improvement sectors to create a group of specialist digital marketing businesses.
The Newcastle based business has worked with some of the automotive industry’s “leading” dealerships, leasing brokers, and manufacturers since 2014, with current and previous clients including Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroen, DS, and Vauxhall), Peter Vardy Group, and Vanarama.
The new brand, UpShift, aims to double down on the firm’s expertise for existing clients and grow the business’ offering and services in line with the demands of the automotive industry.
Home Evolved, the brand for the home and garden improvement sector, will sit under the Evolved name and follow the same approach. It is backed up by Evolved’s experience working with clients including MattressOnline, Beyond Retail, and Primrose, among others, over the last nine years.
Ian McIntosh, CEO, commented: “We are excited to launch our new agency brands and could have made this move much sooner, especially in automotive, but we didn’t want to take anything away from our core offering at Evolved, or the experience and enjoyment of working with clients from lots of different industries.
“We have developed specialisms in each of these industries and we saw this as a great opportunity to take things one step further and benefit all of our clients and staff.”
Tom Etherington, managing director, added: “The different agency brands will help us to develop our expertise, team, services, and partnerships with the needs of client industries in mind and provide a much more effective offering.
“We continuously develop our services within digital marketing, but as clients are going to need agencies that understand their specific challenges and sectors more than ever, given the current economic climate and outlook, we’re putting that at the forefront of our plans.”
Evolved currently employs 60 staff across organic search, paid marketing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and analytics, as well as in-house designers and developers to produce bespoke creative for clients. It was named best Large SEO Agency in the UK and Europe for 2022, and recently ranked 19th in the Prolific North Top 50 Agencies.
