Luxury Lancashire retirement community welcomes first homeowners
Adlington Retirement Living’s new retirement community in Lytham, Lancashire, opens this week.
The Sidings, on Wharf Street, offers 65 age-exclusive one, two and three-bedroomed apartments and is busy welcoming homeowners to settle in before Christmas.
Alexandra Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director for Adlington Retirement Living, said: “We are excited to be welcoming our first homeowners to The Sidings. Our General Manager Victoria and her team are ready to provide an outstanding service. There’s a real buzz about the place.
“Since our marketing suite opened in March, we’ve been inundated with enquiries from potential homeowners booking a tour of The Sidings. In fact, more than half of the apartments have now been reserved, with 24 of our new homeowners set to move in before Christmas.”
The communal facilities at The Sidings include a coffee lounge, a bar, a hair salon, therapy suite, activities studio and cinema room, as well as a guest suite with en-suite for visiting friends and family.
The 24-hour on-site support team provides homeowners with peace of mind and, if needed, optional personal care packages are available. In addition to this, there is a sophisticated emergency call system and a security video entry system to manage access.
All apartments include fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances. Many feature en-suite shower rooms as well as separate bathrooms, and most have a private patio area or walk-out balconies overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens.
Four of Adlington’s communities have won Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards for the Best Retirement Development at the WhatHouse? Awards, the UK housebuilding’s most prestigious event. The Folds in Romiley and the Bridges in Macclesfield won the Silver Award in 2020 and 2019, Adlington House in Otley won the Gold Award in 2017 and Adlington House in Portishead won the Bronze Award in 2015.
Adlington Retirement Living was also crowned Seniors Housing Developer of the Year and its new retirement community in Heaton Mersey, Stockport, won Seniors Housing Scheme of the Year at the HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards 2022.
