Greater Manchester and Cheshire-based family law firm celebrates a successful year
Greater Manchester and Cheshire-based Maguire Family Law is starting the new year on a high after a successful previous 12 months.
The Northwest firm experienced a surge in enquiries for divorce proceedings when the no-fault divorce rules came into force on 6 April, with the Maguire Family Law team supporting local couples to avoid lengthy separation periods with the new ruling. The local firm also experienced a significant spike in enquiries for divorce in 2022 when compared to 2021.
Throughout Spring and Summer, Maguire Family Law introduced a community-wide, inclusive photography competition, ‘Capturing Altrincham’ to the people of Altrincham, Bowdon and Hale. The competition gave local budding photographers the opportunity to win a £750 cash prize for first place, £250 for second place and dinner for two in a local restaurant for third place.
As part of the competition, an awards night was held where Maguire Family Law also raised an impressive £1,000 for DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal through a generous donation from Maguire Family Law as well as a charity raffle with prizes kindly donated from local Altrincham businesses.
As a result of the firm’s commitment to the development of its team, Maguire Family Law made four new hires throughout 2022, taking the total number of team members at the firm to 18. In addition to new hires, Maguire Family Law also promoted four team members, helping to ensure that the firm has the top talent in the industry supporting its clients.
The team’s commitment to excellence has also meant that Maguire Family Law has once again been listed in the Top Tier of the Legal 500 for 2022/23, highlighting that the firm truly is a leader at the forefront of the industry.
“The team has been totally professional throughout whilst offering me kindness, thoughtfulness and sincerity. Their letters are a wonder to behold, each and every one carefully worded and with the desired outcome in mind.
“This whole process, which was clearly always going to be tough and upsetting for anyone, was handled with the utmost care, professionalism and incredible knowledge of the system.”
James Maguire, founder and director of Maguire Family Law, said: “2022 has been an outstanding year for Maguire Family Law and I am extremely proud of the team and their hard work throughout the past 12 months.
“This has been our first year in our new Altrincham office. Altrincham is a hive for legal businesses, and we are proud to be a part of this booming legal scene and to have developed strong relationships with other businesses in our new location. As we look ahead to 2023, we are excited about our plans for further development and continuing to grow and expand.”
