Ridge doubles Birmingham office space as it eyes major growth in 2023
Multidiscipline property and construction consultancy Ridge and Partners LLP (Ridge) has moved into its new Birmingham location at Blythe Valley Park.
Having grown its Birmingham team from 70 to 90 people in 2022, the business has doubled its office space to accommodate further growth and provide a modern, flexible working environment for its team and clients.
The new office has undergone a major fit out to create a variety of work and breakout spaces that promote collaboration, hybrid working and wellbeing. The move to Blythe Park introduces access to green outdoor spaces and sees Ridge join prominent neighbours including Gymshark, ZF, Kier, and Prologis.
The move marks a significant investment in the region, supporting growth in sectors such as education, residential and regeneration.
Locally, Ridge is providing an array of services for major projects including the extension of the West Midlands Metro, the regeneration of Smithfield in Birmingham, Aston University’s campus masterplan, multidisciplinary work for Jaguar Land Rover, and the second development phase for the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) in Coventry.
This year, Ridge is expecting to see growth in its Building Services Team in Birmingham following the appointment of Ben Stanton as Building Services Engineering Partner in September. Key hires have also been added to the project management, structural and civil engineering, and geospatial surveying teams to respond to significant forecast growth in 2023.
Ian Ravenhall, partner at Ridge, said: “Our fantastic new office allows us to better service clients across the Midlands and continue our incredible growth. We’ve worked closely with colleagues to create a space that promotes cross-discipline collaboration while introducing new facilities that support their health and wellbeing, not least the 122-acre country park at Blythe Valley.
“By investing in our people, spaces, and the services that we offer, we’ve built a reputation as one of the region’s leading property and construction consultancies.”
