Global financial services company invests in “ambitious” new Stockton office

Aon colleagues in Stockton were joined by the Mayor of Tees Valley Ben Houchen, as the company officially opened its new premises in Fast Track House, Thornaby today.

The team at Aon, a leading global professional services company, invited the Mayor to cut the ribbon to officially mark the occasion.

The new office is located in Fast Track House on the southern bank of the River Tees in Thornaby. The building opened in September 2022 following a significant refurbishment by owners Regus. Its fully serviced, flexible working office environment appealed to Aon as it supports a hybrid working model which benefits its employees.

Christine Wood, head of office for Aon Stockton and Newcastle, commented: “The investment in flexible, fully serviced facilities is a step forward for the business and the Stockton team. This is part of a strategic move to support Aon’s flexible working culture and our ambitious growth plans.

“The new, modern office better accommodates our knowledgeable and experienced team of client directors and advisors so that they can deliver the best service for our clients, and provides ample space for any expansion in the future.

“The move also cements our position within Stockton’s thriving business community and demonstrates Aon’s commitment to our North East clients, who benefit from having a local team that is supported by a regional, national and international network of colleagues.”

Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen added: “Professional services firms that are looking to grow are coming to Teesside to help meet the demand of all the work we’ve got going on across the region, from the Airport to the Freeport.

“This continued commitment to Teesside by Aon through this latest expansion is brilliant to see, and with the excellent work they’re doing I have no doubt we’ll see them continue to grow and create new jobs for local people.”

Companies based at Fast Track House have access to Regus’s first Business Club, providing businesses with circa 900 sq ft of extra space for meetings and quiet areas for staff to make calls.

The Aon team has relocated from George Stephenson Court, Westland Way. Aon’s new Stockton office provides North East based companies, from SMEs, to large corporates, with commercial risk solutions, health solutions, reinsurance solutions and wealth solutions.
