Newcastle based PR agency celebrates second birthday with “impressive” growth
Content performance and digital PR agency NORTH marked its second birthday with the announcement of an “impressive” 25 per cent increase in revenue year on year.
The Newcastle based agency has experienced “exceptional” growth and has increased its headcount by 43 per cent over the course of the last year, following a string of client successes. This includes securing its eighth-region retainer with recipe-box company, HelloFresh, supporting the company’s expansion into Ireland.
To support this growth, there has also been a number of key internal promotions and appointments. Bethanie Durham was promoted to associate director, Jodie Simpson to content marketing consultant, Sophie Smith to digital PR and content consultant and Katie Stewart to account director.
It is said to have been a “great year” for personal and professional development within the team; Sarah-Jayne Taylorson, digital PR consultant at NORTH, made her speaker debut at last year’s Brighton SEO and senior digital PR manager Mary Hickey is set to take centre stage at the conference in April.
Bethanie Durham, associate director of NORTH, commented: “We all know it has been a financially tough year for most, but we’ve been able to adapt and work alongside our clients to continue to provide growth and revenue for our services.
“We’ve added a number of new clients to our growing portfolio and managed to grow our monthly revenue by 25 per cent since March last year.
“It’s a testament to the whole team and their hard work and commitment to the agency and our clients over the last year. We have a number of exciting plans in the pipeline and look forward to another successful year.”
Since launching in 2021, NORTH has worked with clients including Grind Coffee, DASH Water, Bensons for Beds, ATG Tickets and RMP Enterprise. N21 encompasses three agencies, NORTH, Ortus and Silverbean, providing a range of performance marketing services to brands worldwide.
