Attis Insurance Brokers boosts Teesside team with new appointment
The Port of Middlesbrough-based Teesside office of commercial insurance broker Attis has appointed Sam Forbes as business development executive.
Newcastle University graduate Sam joins the 20-strong team and will be responsible for driving the growth of the business.
Since its launch in 2021, rapidly-expanding Attis now employs over 100 people across a network of six regional offices across the north of England and Midlands. The independent insurance broker also encompasses credit solutions, health and group risk, wealth and employee benefits divisions as well as a specialist motorsport division.
Attis director Emma Simkins said: “We are really pleased to welcome Sam to our growing team. Attis is committed to serving the local business community here on Teesside and we are excited about following the growth trajectory of this vibrant region as its plans for growth over the next decade unfold.
“Sam is totally in tune with the Attis mantra - customers and staff come first; along with expertise and top class customer service. His experience in business development will be a real asset to the business and he will play a key role in further growing our client base.” Sam Forbes said: “I’m excited to be joining Attis, which is rightly proud of its traditional broking model that puts clients first and sees the importance of traditional values and personal service in an increasingly fragmented and outsourced insurance world.
“The firm has a loyal and growing list of clients who trust their advice and decision making from initial contact to claim resolution and beyond. It’s my role to introduce Attis to more businesses, demonstrating how we service clients and support them every step of the way.”
