Luxury boutique London developer launches new “super green” headquarters

Following the opening of its purpose built “ultra-sustainable” headquarters, luxury boutique developer Amara Property has revealed plans to complete on a series of “ambitious” projects in key North London areas, that will deliver over 26,000 sq ft of residential developments, with a projected Gross Development Value (GDV) of over £17m.

This follows a strong 2022 for Amara Property, with all available units at its Little Saddles development, in-between Shenley and Radlett, sold in under 10 months. The Aria, a 8,295 sq ft turn-key new-build mansion in Hadley Wood was sold for a record price.

Situated in the leafy town of Bushey, Hertfordshire, Amara Property’s new head office has been designed as a test space to drive the developer’s innovation in sustainability and interior design across future projects.

The building boasts eco-friendly technology including solar panels with a Tesla power wall battery and air source heat pumps, which ensure the building has a significantly reduced carbon footprint. The Amara team are also testing and adapting the technology to ensure they can successfully integrate it at future single and multi-unit developments.

Rutu Buddhdev, managing director at Amara Property, commented: “During the design process of our new headquarters we wanted to create a space where we could innovate and improve our residential product.

“The entire office is designed as a show home, displaying our bespoke design and high-quality finish. Our interior design team has worked hard to showcase the bespoke joinery and furniture that our purchasers and clients can use to complete the look of their new home.”

Amara Bespoke is the dedicated interior design arm of Amara Property and is led by head of interiors, Neerali Vora-Kundi who specialises in designing luxury interiors. Neerali’s team will produce feature interiors that are unique to Amara Property developments or private client projects.

Amara Bespoke will use the new HQ as a dedicated showroom, which they will utilise to demonstrate the look and feel of new projects to clients and purchasers.

Sam Koffman, head of land acquisitions & sales, added: “This is a very exciting period for Amara Property. We are building on the success of 2022, with a collection of stunning homes in the pipeline, however, we want to continue our growth and are actively searching for new sites that will allow us to increase and improve our offering.

“Typically, we have focused our operations in and around high-profile areas of North London and the Home Counties, but we are expanding our parameters to take our bespoke product further afield into new markets where there is strong demand.”
