North West housing company achieves Net-Zero Carbon Commitment goal
Award-winning company, The Sovini Group, continues its Net-Zero Carbon Commitment, achieving 100 per cent recycling rates of their construction waste for 2021/2022.
The property, facilities and construction company who manage and maintain over 14,000 homes and boast an ambitious new build housing programme, surpassed industry standards of 80 per cent recycle rates, through their innovative supply-chain.
Sovini Waste Solutions, part of The Sovini Group provide the Group with a bespoke waste management solution which supports the businesses continuing commitment to going green.
The Group who scooped the Innovation Award for Best Responsible Business at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Awards, are committed to a zero-to-landfill approach.
The Group’s in-house property and facilities management company, Sovini Property Services (SPS) have also diverted over 6,000 tonnes of waste from landfill during 2021/2022.
In line with the Group’s Net-Zero Carbon Commitment and the Future Buildings Standard (2021), all projects and initiatives take a ‘fabric first’ decarbonisation approach aimed at reducing energy consumption and providing sustainable homes for customers.
