Biztech Lawyers expands its UK team with the addition of Rebecca Wilson
Biztech Lawyers has welcomed Rebecca Wilson into its UK team.
The global legal services company, which focuses on providing business focused legal advice in the technology sector, has hired Rebecca as it continues to face increasing demand for its services in the UK and Europe.
Biztech, which has been established in Australia and the US for some time, opened its UK base earlier this year in response to rising international need for its services.
Alison Berryman, head of Biztech’s UK operation, said: “We are delighted to have Rebecca on board. She comes to us at a time when client demand is rising consistently, and she has all the qualities needed to help us maintain that momentum and take further steps forward.’’
Rebecca Wilson said: “I’m delighted to be here. There is no doubt that these are exciting times for Biztech. It is a company that innovates, has a global presence and is becoming increasingly attractive to more and more potential clients around the world.’’
Biztech’s London office works for innovative UK companies, as well as businesses around the world who have to meet UK and European legal requirements and need creative, considered legal advice.
Rebecca Wilson has extensive experience working in the legal sector, having previously worked in teams dealing with corporate, employment and intellectual property law, as well as in specialist commercial technology and data protection work. She has also held roles in the marketing and charity sectors. Rebecca’s familiarity with legal procedures, drafting documents and legal terminology, and recognised skills in conducting in-depth research, managing case files, and communicating effectively with clients and other legal professionals make her a fantastic addition to Biztech’s UK team.
Rebecca comes into a very varied role as a Paralegal at Biztech and will cover everything from legal drafting to organising events.
