Award-winning fintech announces plans to create 150 new jobs amid strong growth
Manchester based fintech Zuto has announced plans to hire 150 new team members across its contact centre, following another strong year of growth.
All new starters will go through Zuto’s award-winning accredited training programme armed with a clear career path with progression opportunities, which has resulted in 80 per cent of Zuto’s sales managers being promoted from within.
Employees such as Ellen Peak, contact centre recruitment manager at Zuto, joined the company as a graduate sales executive in August 2021 and has progressed to recruitment manager in under two years.
Ellen commented: “l was always attracted to sales and recruitment roles, even from a young age I wanted to be a manager. In August 2021 I spotted a graduate sales role online and within 2 weeks had started with Zuto.
“The graduate sales executives are primarily responsible for customers. By December of the same year, I successfully applied for an internal role as Talent Acquisition Executive. In July 2021, I was promoted to talent acquisition manager, a role with significantly more day-to-day responsibility including organising assessment centres.
“More recently I have moved into a contact centre recruitment manager role. I have now worked for 14 months in recruitment. Zuto has been incredible in offering me opportunities to progress my career and supporting me to get to where I want to be - when you work hard, you’ll be rewarded.”
B Corp company Zuto has maintained its clear focus on technology-driven, customer-first products, coupled with human experience to support and educate customers through the car buying journey, with its call centre employees playing a key role in this.
Aimee Gethin, COO at Zuto, added: “It’s a very exciting time for the company following a period of continued growth. Since the very start of our journey, we have been on a mission to change things for the better – not only for our customers, but also for our local community, our Zutonites, and the planet.
“We want to make the car finance experience as transparent as possible for customers and we are focused on creating a great environment for employees by fostering a culture of equality and sustainability.
“The recruitment drive will allow us to bolster our existing outstanding team of 400 employees. We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals and people looking to make a real difference and look forward to welcoming new starters to Zuto.”
