One of the UK's leading trichologists announces acquisition of high-end 'hair therapy' brand

This week (19 June) sees the announcement of a unique, new partnership as “Tony Maleedy Hair” becomes part of UK Hair Specialists Limited, bringing together two pioneering teams of expertise.

UK Hair Specialists Limited - with its head office and flagship clinic based in Warwickshire - is a leading UK-wide clinical Trichology practice founded and managed by Consultant Trichologist Eva Proudman FIT IAT (former Chair of the Institute of Trichology).

In addition to treating her many patients across a network of 6 clinics, Eva also works on product development and testing, to help bring affordable and effective hair loss treatments to the market.

Tony Maleedy was a Clinical Trichologist for 25 years before becoming a much sought-after cosmetic scientist. Tony’s renowned formulations are not only award-winning but are also developed with the inside knowledge of scalp and hair health from a Trichological perspective, coupled with the application of science to meet the very complex needs of the hair and scalp.

Since this recent purchase of the brand and all assets, UK Hair Specialists now owns the rights to “Tony Maleedy Juniper Scalp Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner” as well as the range of “Earth Kind Sustainable Shampoo and Hair Care Bars” (currently available in a number of high street outlets including Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and leading health and wellness retailers, Holland and Barrett).

Eva Proudman, Director of UK Hair Specialists comments; “Our ongoing strategy is to continue supplying the hugely popular “Tony Maleedy Juniper Therapy Shampoo” to the existing customer base as well as increasing production to meet the growing levels of enquiries from a new and curious generation of clients, who are keen to explore the very best in hair and scalp care. As we expand production, we plan on being able to invest further into the research, development and marketing of a suite of new products.

“Both Tony Maleedy and Earth Kind have a really loyal customer base which we pledge to maintain, nurture and grow. We are delighted that Nick Maleedy is joining our team to focus on customer relations and service.”

Working with a team of nutritionists, Eva has also developed the award-winning Tricoextra supplement, packed full of “hand-picked’ essential vitamins and minerals to help resolve excessive hair loss and maintain the healthiest hair and scalp possible.
