'Historic Yorkshire business' targets new chapter with Hydra Creative
A historic Sheffield company with more than 100 years of expertise has appointed city digital transformation specialist agency, Hydra Creative, to elevate their web presence. Baldwin & Francis, founded in 1919, has a reputation for creating tailor-made electrical power solutions to be used in the most challenging environments across many different industries.
Hydra also specialises in bespoke solutions, but to digital challenges. The agency’s team will now use its breadth of expertise to provide on page and technical SEO plus content writing services for Baldwin & Francis to boost their continuing growth.
Gemma Daniels, client services director at Hydra Creative, said: “Baldwin & Francis has a fascinating story to tell, through both its history and major international projects serving industries from rail to mining. We’re thrilled to be working with them to help improve their website visibility and tell their story to the world.
“We will do this through a combination of carefully considered SEO and a robust content strategy developed after our discovery day to identify keyword opportunities and areas of potential digital growth.”
Among the first pieces of content undertaken by the Hydra team was one focusing on a mining project carried out in sub-zero temperatures in a remote part of Norway.
A second covered the appointment of Baldwin & Francis’ new Operations Director Connor Beard-Bucktrout, who will use his vast military experience to help grow the company. Baldwin & Francis is part of the iDESo Group, which has a headquarters in Sheffield.
Connor said: “We chose Hydra to help Baldwin & Francis with the next chapter of the company because just like our business, they offer a highly personalised service and took the time to understand our complex requirements.”
