Karbon Homes announces "fantastic" partnership to deliver value in Gateshead
Affordable housing provider Keelman Homes is teaming up with Northern housing association Karbon Homes to provide value for money tenancy services for its current and future customers through Karbon’s cost sharing vehicle (CSV) Karbon Solutions.
The new partnership will see Karbon deliver all tenancy management services and responsive repairs to over 300 Keelman homes across Gateshead.
Christine Paxton, assistant director of business development and communications at Karbon Homes, commented: “We are thrilled to be working alongside Keelman Homes to provide key services for their tenants in Gateshead.
“Keelman’s core values of making a positive difference in their communities aligns with our own and makes our partnership a great fit.
“Together we can provide their customers with high quality, value for money services that prioritise supporting them and keeping them as safe and secure in their homes as possible. We know this will be a fantastic partnership.”
Karbon Solutions is a cost sharing vehicle which allows organisations like housing associations to benefit from the Cost Sharing Exemption on services by making VAT savings on labour.
Anne Marie Pearce, managing director of Keelman Homes, added: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Karbon Homes as our new strategic partner. Our priority is to make sure our tenants receive value for money, and the best possible service, to help them feel safe, comfortable and supported in their homes.
“Karbon has a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service to other housing providers through Karbon Solutions and I’m confident Keelman Homes’ tenants will really enjoy the service they receive.”
Keelman Homes joins Karbon Homes, Castles and Coasts Housing Association and Eden Housing Association, as members of Karbon Solutions. In total, Karbon Solutions will now provide services to 9,349 homes on the basis of shared values.
