Siân Daniel, Chatter Communications

Employer brand specialist Chatter Communications has appointed Siân Daniel as junior web developer. Siân recently retrained as a web developer after eight years as a primary school teacher and school leader.

In her new role she will be supporting the digital team with a range of tasks including building career websites, creating content management system plugins, undertaking web-server administration and helping to come up with creative ideas for new digital services.

Siân commented: “The role at Chatter and the world of employer branding is a perfect fit - it’s really exciting to be able to continue my developer journey whilst also carrying on my passion for supporting other people to succeed.

“I am passionate about accessibility and bring with me lots of experience in tailoring solutions that are accessible to a range of ages, abilities and backgrounds, which will be a useful skill when coming up with creative digital content.”

Michael Cantwell, Schofield Sweeney

Michael Cantwell has joined Yorkshire based law firm Schofield Sweeney as a partner in their corporate team. Based in Leeds, Michael acts on a wide range of corporate matters. He is regularly involved in early negotiations to structure a transaction and credited with finding solutions to issues early.

Michael is a trusted advisor and receives recommendations from existing clients, law firms and accountancy practices with a particular focus in the gambling and the manufacturing industry. Michael also advises clients from initial set up (including EIS, SEIS, EMI and growth share investment), subsequent additional investment/funding rounds and eventual exit.

Joycelyn Tsekpo, Wilton Lodge

A care home in Hull, Yorkshire that specialises in the provision of dementia care has announced the appointment of a new manager. With a strong background in health and social care, Joycelyn Tsekpo brings a wealth of experience to Wilton Lodge, having worked extensively in both the NHS and the social care sector for over 15 years.

During her career, Joycelyn has progressed through various positions, including senior care assistant and deputy manager. Most recently, Joycelyn was the manager of Alderson House Care Home in Bridlington.

Terry Peel, CEO of HICA Group, which owns and manages Wilton Lodge, commented: “We are thrilled to have Joycelyn join us as the new manager at Wilton Lodge. Her extensive background in the social care sector, combined with her passion for making a difference in people’s lives, makes her an invaluable addition to our team.
